Yes, the game had its rough patches, but over the years through changes and additions, the core systems became even more engaging. It ends up there was more than one nation there was Bastok, and Windhurst My bro started in Bastok, then came to Sandoria Ryoki was going to lead him.
FFXI AN JOURNALY END SERIES
Final Fantasy XI took the ideas of the series and applied them to the MMO formula in interesting ways. Outside of traditional MMO ideas, jobs even applied to the wider game and not just combat, like how thieves can pick locks. The guide not only gives a general suggestion for the order to tackle content, but also explains how the content works, and what notable rewards can be found from it. What resulted was an experience that felt unique to each player, and experimentation was necessary. That's why I made this guide: to be a one-stop-shop for new / returning players trying to figure out the endgame, from initial gearing all the way up to Dyna D Wave 3 and beyond. The game also added sub-jobs on top of the system, expanding on each role with even more unique ideas and playstyles. Players could choose from a variety of different jobs in Final Fantasy XI, but unlike most MMOs, you didn't have to change characters to change "class." Players could collect gear from all across the world, then use it in tandem with jobs to experiment with entirely new playstyles. A big part of this for Final Fantasy XI came with the series' iconic job system.

Some of these were super well written, and yes a few of the Chains that weren't one-offs do have an actual journal entry but it's not even all of them, really inconsistent.Freedom is at the heart of the MMO experience, and the best of the genre gives players an endless amount of options. The theory I heard when Stormblood dropped was that they didn't have the resources/time for these, now there's now way to look back at what happened in any of the SB side quests without digging through the log files or playing them again on another character. You agree to rendezvous with them in the Lochs.

Now, the vast majority are completely barren besides msq and a few select quest chains. Eager to reach Ala Mhigo, Bertliana bids the group resume their march towards the citystate. (lvl 58 quest summaries compared with lvl 68)īefore Stormblood, each quest in the quest journal had a summary that updated at each stage of the quest, sometimes extra tidbits were even included (and some crazy shit in the Drk quest summaries).
